Nice. I'm looking at that bike on the cubicle wall above my monitor. Class.

That Bucky sure is a show-off!
He's got the 2nd best lookin' BA/SM I've seen.
After mine, of course.
Now I gotta try to get him to post pics of mine,
'cause I'm ignorant of this 'puter stuff.

Thanks Erwin! I think that pic was from Techday1.
My belt-drive install.
Feel free to start an Uncle Charlie thread with pics.
I know Bucky has many pics to add.

I know the guidelines only say post your own stuff, but if another member asks you to start a thread for them, go for it.

Charlie, start a/the/your thread so your name appears as the initial poster eh? Then Martin can post to it. You could use this image in your initial post to your new thread. It can be changed once you have an image you really want there...

Is that a beercan on the back or a nitrous oxide tank?

There are only a few bikes out there that make me want to switch to hardbags. This is definitely one of them! Always nice to see it - every artistic shot!

Thanks for the kind words. The tank came from http://www.tourtank.com/TourTanks.html

I thought it might come in handy for a 2300 mile tour I did back in 07? or was it 06? Anyway, I ended up selling it (I think at Ratnet?) to Guy from Seattle, who rode from Seattle to Bennington, VT for the Bennington Triumph Rally.

http://www.armchaircommando.org/benningt...asc&start=0

http://www.triumphrat.net/ride-trip-repo...tml#post1052246

Small world - I met Guy at the Bennington Rally, then a few days later, my wife & I were having dinner at a restaurant in our small town, 100 miles from Bennington. I look across the room, and there's Guy, on the first leg of his trip back to Seattle. Even smaller world -- Hedge, from Norwalk or Stamford, CT, wanted to buy the tour tank, which would bring it back to CT. Weird science.

The tank was handy enough, except for all the questions at the gas pump. EVERY time I got gas, I would have to answer 20 questions. During the first few hundred miles of stops, I didn't mind fielding the questions. After the 500 mile or so mark, I would start getting a little grumpy, and when asked what it was, felt like saying, What the f' did you think it is you blind bat m' f'er?

What can I tell you - once a grump, always a grump/

I may have to add another Speedmaster to my stable of bikes just so I can transform it like you have done with yours. The bike looks just outstanding.

Your bike is just fantastic! The color combination, chrome, whitewalls and hard bags just make this one of the best looking Triumphs ever. I ride local in CT and look forward to seeing this bike at a local event. Have a great riding season!
