A minor change in focus in this forum...
Now that we have a forum for everybody to show off their bikes, we want to push this forum more to a discussion of what custom things people are doing to their bikes. To quote the new description, to go along with the new name:
"What are you working on? Bobbing a fender? Machining a new set of triple trees? Squirting custom paint? Hacking up a GFG? Carving some leather? Show us what you're doing."
If you have a custom bike that's finished (or as "finished" as any bike gets), please post it in Member's Rides. If you are currently or have finished creating something custom, or you have a question on how to do something custom, for example, helpful hints on bobbing a fender, tools used, etc., or you want to know how to prep your tin for a custom paint job, or want opinions on designs for hacking up that spare George Foreman Grill, this is still the place to do that, as it always has been.
As with Member's Rides we're open to suggestions and we're fine tuning this concept as we go. Don't get butthurt if you post a thread about your custom bike and we move it over to Member's rides. If you want to showcase a particular modification or fabrication, you can still post it here.
This doesn't mean we're going to go through and "prune" the "non-conforming" threads here. But if you want something moved over to Member's Rides (and it's about your bike and follows the guidelines over there), please contact one of the moderators.
