@Stevie, Thank you, I actually just pulled the chrome off of the tank the other day. It was really bothering me for some reason, and decided it had to go. I am goint to replace it, but I haven't decided with what yet.

@Keith, I was thinking of you the other day, and finally bought some of the lightest steel wool. I then sat out in the garage and shined up the pipes. Worked like a charm. Thanks Keith.

Just a couple of updates...
The Rivco Solo Rack, you can also see the easy brackets with cheap leather bags.
[image][/image]
The MotoGrip, Death Grips, you can also see the Joker Machine brake reservoir cover.

The Red anodized strip around the seam.
[image][/image]
The Dash experiment. It looks okay but is chipping off near the bung. This will probably end up flat black. I like the new gas cap from lowbrow customs.
[image][/image]
The new to me battery cover, and my eyeball and mudflap girl.
[image][/image]
Of course my awesome laydown license plate holder.

Hey two more days and we tie the record for most rainy days in a month. I belive we have had one dry day in all of March.
I saw a little sun on the way home from work tonight. Supposed to storm all weekend. At least I'll be working, so I won't feel like I'm missing something.
I'm sure the Oregon Tan is very similar to the Montana Tan, the Washington Tan, and the ever popular Canadian Tan. Also just known as fish belly white.

Keith, by the time I get to your place, I'll have been to Arizona and back, so my bike will really need a bath.

Often referred to as a cowl, the chin spoiler is the plastic aerodynamic thingy at the base of the frame behind the front wheel which is designed for stability at high speed. It is mostly used on sport bikes.

Hey man,
I was looking at the el-gringo bars as well. Did you need to run custom lengths of cable or did they bold right on?

bolted right on..BUT if you have speedmaster risers they will be tight and you need to re-route the clutch cable. I bought some lower risers from someone selling them on here. I liked riding with the stock risers on the freeway, but it was kinda crappy around town. Having them lower brought back the better handeling in the twisties and around town. They are a bit narrower too, just something be aware of. If you take you bike there they offered to run the wires in the bars for me. I should have done that. I may at some point. I might look into the sticky throttle too. Just to clean up the bars. Good luck. Nash makes quality stuff.

did you make the rear peg hangers...they look like they are in a good place for a different foot position on a long ride

If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

No, I bought them from New Speedmaster
They are great for another foot position, and super sturdy. I can even stand up on them. I think it's one of the best changes I've made. I find I ride with my feet back as much as forward on the freeways now.

Make sure to call them first. I had to order them two weeks out. I did hold up a couple of different sets. it was the Gringos or the Drag bars. They both looked really good. I liked the dirt bike style cross bar. They say they are not designed to be internally wired, but they did offer that to me at the shop. You might double check that.

Let me know if you are riding down this way. I always like meeting new BA.com folks, for food and/or drinks.

Cheers.

The sticker? It's one of my band stickers, I think that's what you are referring to.

I'm glad you looked at the pics.

A friend helped me bob my fender last week, also added my new struts thanks to PougueMahone, and my new tailight from lowbrow customs. I am very happy. I should have my new sissybar from Warlock sometime soon too. It really is coming along.

I guess I used the wrong word, you know those things that hold the fender up and were chrome only now they are black, and I can't think of what they are called, but they sure look great.

Made me blink too.

I liked the red tank seam/dash treatment, but alas, I see it's gone. Still a darn good lookin' bike!

I liked the red too, but it faded to quickly, and then didn't look so good.
