Man that's a clean looking bike. Can you notice much difference between the 865 and 790 engines?

lol. I've been wearing out a jar of Mother's on it. Seems the previous owner didn't wipe it down much and the chrome was ready for polish. And the front wheel was a mess which cleaned up nicely. Not perfect but a couple more times with the mother's and it'll all be there. Quote:

No. But I haven't really rode her yet. 70 miles home from Port Orange FL last Wednesday. And 10 miles into work today. She does seem to have a goodly amount of get up and go, which I attribute to her youth (low mileage currently 1,262.00). Speaking of, the tires will be 6 years old this June (2506) and they have extremely wide chicken strips. In essence I'm still wearing the mold release off! Add to that not being sure what size the front sprocket is. I could tell had I a tachometer on her. It feels like an 18 though. She has TORS on her which are a pleasant change from D&Ds and Scepters! Speaking of TORS I've got to index her plugs and Sync her carbs after I change out her spark plugs. I changed her oil at Ryan's before I rode her home though (it was a six mile ride to Ryan's from Mr. Hamilton's place). To Amsoil from Lucas 10w40. Oh yeah today I removed the AI system and drained her float bowls (which looked good).
Poor girl was never rode hard and put up wet. Well, that's all over for her now!

Ah the BRP. Jane and I just got back yesterday from a road-trip in the cage. Ended up an Skyline Drive on the way home. Sure is nice and pretty down south now. Big difference from back home.
Oh, should I show off my two Triumphs too? Actually we are up to 4 bikes now. Trophy, Speedy, Janes Magna and an old CL350.
Yes, I'd love to see a photo of your bikes corralled together, but in your Members Ride thread eh?

Good news on the floats being in good shape. I think I wiped the Tiger down after I got into the airbox for the first time. Cannot remember as the clean-up is so quick.

What about "Ebony Rose"? Shouldn't there be a new thread? "Name Moe's New bike?"

Surely Moe's joking. Going from svelte 500lb bike to a 900lb. bike. Sometime I feel my 750 lb. T-bird is a bit too much. Maybe I will downsize a little to a new Trophy.

Paul, are you referring to my blurb about, "Some day I'll break away from the twins and Triumph in general and reach for the one delusion that borders on reality: the fabled Gold Wing. "?
Funny thing about weight: Being as how I hate slabs and roll rural roads mostly, weight is a factor! I don't want to be tossing around a Gold Wing when the America's are so lithe. Speaking of, the OEM saddle is a pain in the butt. Sits me way too high and makes Prudence seem too heavy. THAT’S RIGHT I SAID IT: Prudence. Yes Ryan, I like it! So today I slipped her panties off, err removed the oem saddle and put Vera Lynn’s saddle on her. Amazing difference. AMAZING! Like another ride altogether. Prudence has her groove now.
That got me to thinking about the t-bird and Rocket III. Perhaps those bikes would be more ahem, flickable with a corbin saddle? The feeling I had when I test rode the T-bird in NH was similar to that of riding Prudence with her oem saddle. Dammit. Does anyone want a slightly used 2007 America? I am going to get me one of them thar t-birds! (and a corbin saddle) NOT!
Where was I? Oh yeah: weight. Having a corbin saddle on Prudence was the prudent thing to do. aha ha ha ha

Well, OF COURSE he has "ADHD", John! If you recall, Jim never once said he would ever be interested in purchasing a Road King of an Electra Glide to go touring on, now did he?!
(...I mean you WERE talkin' about "Acute Dread of Harley-Davidsons" here, weren't ya?!...something MANY of us here BA.com are thankfully affected with!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Clearly you jest! And yeah I remember when the drug of choice for ADD was a fresh thin branch off the nearest tree, followed by my Dad's fraternity paddle when he arrived home. Dinner was real fun those nights. Too bad I didn't have a motorsickle back then.

Nice! She's lovely, dear Prudence, she is. I guess we know who the real Capt. America is now.

While looking for an old drawing of the BA, I came across this photo: . Yes this is Cinnamon Girl before I purchased her on July 31, 2007, parked in the Meadors' driveway, Brian TX. Two wheeled Texans
