USA	From what I hear u have to have the case bored to run the 988 and if u gots to spilt the case might as well get a 1087 stroker kit 2005 America 145 mains, , #48 pilots, , k&n pod filters, ported intakes manifolds, nology coils and wires, pro com CDI, 62 HP at wheel 68,000 hard miles still runs great gone "traded"

There's a 1087 kit? How does this affect reliability of the engine and the cooling? I would imagine that the fins aren't big enough to accommodate an 1100cc engine. What about oil capacity?

Gregger Loquacious Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 3,063 Likes: 8 Timmins, Ontario	Here is some clarification. 1. 904 - cylinders bored and sleeved,(depending on manufacturer) 2. 988 - cylinders bored/sleeved and crank stroked 3. 994 - purchase of new cylinders - cases bored only 4. 1087 - new cylinders, cases bored, crank stroked 5. 1100 - new cylinders, cases bored 6. 1200 - new cylinders, cases bored, crank stroked.
