clutch lifter arm question

after installing a clutch lifter dress up kit i noticed that i have about 1/8 of an inch up/down play with the lifter arm. In other words, I can lift up and push down on the lifter arm. Is this normal or did I tear something up? Bike is an 04 Speedy.

that is about right, its okay

05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter
