I have noticed that after a full day of riding, my ****** is sore and my back hurts. This, after all the years of riding has never subsided. If I put in 6 or 8 hours of riding I am sore and tired. Is it just me or is there some help? Some thing I am unaware of?

D@mn, I am losing my hair, my beard is getting grey,and I have gained some extra wieght. Thats it you say get younger.

What seat are you using? the stock gunfighter seat is not that great to me ! Thinking of getting taller T-bars on the speedy that might help too..Maybe same for you!

You're right, I should have put a behind it so you could tell I'm being a smartass.
Seriously, change your bars, change your seat, get a backrest, get a windshield.
Or change your lifestyle, eat right, exercise, and see if your body feels better in general.

I know roadworthy, I was kind of ripping on myself there. yes I am getting older where I can admit it or not. I get exercise, have recently changed my diet,but am not going to quit drinking and riding. I know that at least some of my ails are that I have been very rough on my body as a youngster.
I found a seat I want to try if any one has, and can advise me. Its the touring seat from British customs.
I did reposition my stock bar up some I just like the look of them and didnt want to change them, but maybe some buck horns.

Every now and again, I'll adjust my riding position on my bike by trying to lift my bars straight up with my hands. This causes me to reposition my back and hips a little, which puts me back into a better posture.

When I get lazy I start to slouch and hold myself up with my arms, which is bad for my back.

I also like to remind myself to put some weight on my feet - pressing down on the foot pegs with even just a few pounds of force seems to help quite a bit.

So true !! Thats why I am hoping those slim seats might drop my butt a little and raise the arms which like you said helps..

Get one of the fliers from OSHA about setting up office space for max comfort/min injury, the one that has a number of pages on keyboard, mouse and monitor placement and chair hight/location. Use the same rules for peg and handlebar layout and you will find your effective range greatly increased.
