Dang , I had to read that REAL SLOW about 4 times , but I think I GOT IT !!!
OK , now that we have the running light option established for the REAR , as far as I know , in order to have a bona fide STOP signal incorporated into the REAR TURN lamps , one would need to have dual circuits - ie: a two-filament bulb , like an 1157 and piggyback it from the REAR STOPLAMP and into the housing on the TURN lamp . It could be done with some creative mounting of an 1157 type base.
