Can't even recall the amount of times that Cockerham Food Mart with the gas pumps and the Lake view restuarant on Fancy Gap Hwy right at the BRP have dipped in my wallet. The Mountain Top Motel too. Heck there used to be a gift shop right across from the Chevron. The Fancy Gap Country store? It is closed now but a couple years back when riding with the Yankee, I bought an artsy fartsy glazed pottery vase and tray as a gift for Lynn. I can see both of them while sitting here at the island eating my generic cheerios and sipping my french (spit) press Italian roast coffee.
