Yeah, a little maintenance every so often... that's a good way to go! I say this because no matter what kind of water ya got going, tankless water heaters are pretty fantastic! I had one back in the days of living in a cabin in the woods and LOVED IT!! From time to time I'd flush it with limescale cleaner and the thing never failed me! Just my 10 cents (inflation and all)!
