I posted about a month ago that I had a paint job getting done. I didn't expect it to take that long but here it is...I think it's pretty darn sweet to see my girl in some new clothes.

I love how the color changes depending on the angle and the light. It sometimes look blacker or more red depending on the light. Hope you all dig it. I do!!!

Very cool Chris. I love the colour. Class bike. Did you do the seat yourself? Might be up for a new rear tire I reckon.

Nice paint for sure. Where did you get the rear blinkies.
Rear tire might need some attention

New tires are in the garage. I have some wild flare IRC's going on in a few days. Gotta be ready for the AR rally in a couple weeks!

Thanks for the comments so far guys!!!

I know I need to get some pics with MY seat on there. I just threw on the Corbin...just because.

To the question about the blinkies...those are Kuryakn blinks. They weren't very expensive really...90 bucks.
Here's the link... Blinkies

Bike looks bad a$$ my friend. That paint actually makes me like the lines with the console and all! Nice work.

That paint job looks primo. If I may suggest painting the Triumph clutch cover to match. I did this on mine a few years back.

Yeah, it's real nice! Looks way better in person, the pics just can't catch all that's going on with it. Darker in real life than the photos suggest. A quality job for sure.

Dang, now that's reeeeeaaaal purty! Careful riding it for a while, paint takes a while to cure REAL hard, and can chip easily. Especially while going to places like ARK rallies. With Dave. Fast.

Very VERY nice lookin' paint job there, Chris. Your bike is lookin' GREAT!!!

But just one thing here though, and not to nitpick or anything, but....

You said earlier after somebody asked about the blinkers...

Quote:

To the question about the blinkies...those are Kuryakn blinks. They weren't very expensive really...90 bucks.

And so, why didn't you spring for another 90 bucks and match your front blinkers with those out back...and get rid of those lousy pumpkins up there?

(...lemme guess...that beautiful paint job cost ya just about 90 bucks more than the artisan who painted it first quoted, right?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Well I've been wanting to match those up Dwight and I will eventually. Right now...I just had a 15 thousand dollar landscape project in the backyard and the paint job so if I bought ANYTHING for my bike right now...my wife would (insert graphic mutilation details here) me to death.
It can wait for now but it will be addressed soon.

Oh yeah, I fully understand. I've just completed building a second-story deck off the back of my house, and as is almost always the case, there's a "little" cost overrun involved in these kind'a things.

(...but still, your bike looks great!)

Very Smooth indeed and an added bonus of a cool paint job is the personalized "one off" effect that other bolt on mods won't give you.
Dare to be different I say .
