If your man card can handle almost 200hp and almost 300 lbs-ft of torque with almost instantaneous acceleration that has to be electronically limited to keep the bike from leaving your butt on the pavement, all the power to you.

The sound is pretty muted, but these bikes are NOT silent. Not loud but a pretty cool howl at "WOT".
I'm pretty sure that kinda powa would easily make up for the lack of open pipes on a petrol driven engine!!! I for one would like to experience it.
Meanwhile I do like the sound of a internal combustion engine. Thank goodness petroleum is a renewable resource (now there's a controversial statement, or has Keith just gone mad?).
