The detector is manufactured by Adaptiv Technologies and designed specifically for motorcycles. The detector itself puts out an audible tone, the L.E.D. light comes with it, and there is an optional wireless headset that slips into your helmet.

Radar detectors are illegal in some states. In Virginia, for example, radar detectors are illegal. If you are caught, you will get a $40 fine for having one.
