Not really. Google just reads the content of the page and looks at your I.P. Address (to guess your approximate location) and gets ads accordingly. Sometimes they're right sometimes not so right.
Seems there's no boundaries when it comes to advertising stuff we just gotta have . Just can't get away from ads . (an inconvenient truth)
