Good deal & welcome. I think the fork lock, when not used regularly can be a bit stiff. I'd put a shot of some type of lubricant in the mechanism if you need to use it. I remember the first time I locked my bike, it took quite a bit of wiggling to get it work, than smoothly on subsequent tries.
