Mine is a 06 in silver and grafite. The bike should fit you well, I am 5'8" and the seating position is a little long for me. The only real problem I have had in the 23000 plus miles of going to work is the coils. They went belly up at about 19000. Just replace them with some Nology coils and your good to go.

I went from a 883 Sportster last year to my 09 America. I absolutely love it.

Have made a number of changes and will be keeping this bike til one of us gives out. My dealer moved my forward controls back 2" as I'm 5'4". Just cut them off and had them welded them back on. Sure it wasn't that easy, but that's the way he explained it. Also I've put longer risers on and I have victory handlebars on it, because they reach farther back. Also put progressive shocks on to lower it 2". New pipes, etc,etc.

Lots of fun stuff to do with the Americas, but what's nice is they're great stock as well. A concept HD has never understood!
