I've run a 1200 sporty-put about 25kmiles on it from new in 2004.
TBA performs better ,more reliably and handles way way better+ its a physically bigger bike-sold the sporty as I'm 6ft3ins and it was too small when loaded with beloved+luggage.Oh and I had to stop all the time for fuel on the sporty.
I'm not saying I'd never have a sporty again but if I had both bikes and had to throw one overboard,the HD would hit the water-no contest.
Buy a TBA and grin again
