My original intent for this thread was not to bash the T-Bird. I wanted to simply say that I am tired of people saying that they are trading-up to, graduating to or upgrading to the T-Bird, like our bikes are some little training bike. No, I dont care for the new T-Bird, but a lot of people do, that is good for Triumph, but not for me. If someone does go from a Speedy or America to a Thundrbird, it a step side-ways (with a bigger motor) not up. It is something completely different.

If I graduate to a T-Bird , it will be to upgrade my distance and perhaps two up touring ability.
I won't however, trade up. I want to keep the the Speedy for some major custom work that I have floating around in my brain.
