Given that Harley had dominated the cruiser segment and Triumph were glaringly absent until '02, the same can be said about our Speedys/Americas (the tank console and the Speedy's seat come to mind).
Also, the T-Bird's tank is not that dissimilar to the latter-day Speedy and America tanks.
