I agree with Soren completely. When I went shopping for my bike in March 2002, my friends (Harley types) had that "starter bike" mentality, probably because of Harley's scam, er scheme, of selling sportsters as starter bikes with the upgrade deal to a dyna or whatever after two years. But here I am, 8.5 years later still on the same bike.
