Hi--looking for input from anyone who has cleaned, touched-up light spots or waterproofed their riding leathers. What products have worked best for you? I'm about to prepare for colder weather and would like to hear from you. Thanks!

Sno Seal is the best I ever found. It won't "clog" the leather causing damage like most water proofing products. Best thing is to clean very well with saddle soap and let dry. Heat the leather (I use a hair dryer but can be done carefully in the oven on low heat) and rub in the Sno Seal.

+1 on the Sno Seal.

Good stuff for anything leather... boots, jackets, etc...

It will darken lighter colored leathers and if there is a nubuck finish, that will be gone too.

Not a waterproofer, but it softens, conditions, and prevents leather from cracking. A long time cobbler recommended it to me.

I checked out the bonedrynz site and it looks like good stuff but I don't think they sell in the U.S. unfortunately.

mink foot oil from tandy leather.
