It occurs to me that most of you folks are US based....nothing wrong with that, honest, but I was wondering how many of us UK members there are- and are there enough to maybe even think about meeting up sometime/place-maybe when the sun shines again. any interest out there?

Quite a few events during the year where a number of us actually meet up. March: Afghan Heroes (ride through Wootton basset) June : Farmyard Party. Lots of beer and Music(N Yorkshire) July : Dent camping and swimming weekend. More beer and ride outs. Sept. Triumph birthday bash (This year anyways!) Sept. Concorde rally (bristol area) Oct. Ride to the wall (A mass ride to the National memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire) Plus a few more that I cannot remember. Come and join us especially for Dent and I believe someone from down south is organising a Southern Weekend (where it don't rain all the time!)for 2011 See you soon..Paul

hi al. yes we realy are outnumbered here by the guys over the pond. all the more reason we in the uk should keep in contact. I live in se london only a stones throw from you, and kent is my nearest opportunity to get some decent scenic riding done, so see you when the sun next shines. steve.

Plenty of us meet up a few times a year the next one on my agenda is Ride to the Wall this weekend. The next organised event is Ullapool in Easter organised by VikingSteve - good run from Kent
By the way congrats on your choice of Triumph

Thanks Glenn-even better is that I have a caravan at South heighton so am down there often too...surely paths will cross.....and from your name tag I assume youre connected with the Bonfire Society...in which case you may know roger from the South Heighton Bonfire soc and the Hampden Arms ...in which case he'll also know me from my club (AMOC). And for the benefit of those in America or Oz-yes Britan is a small place isnt it?...though there are still some people I dont know.

I know Roger very well, as well as alot of other rmembers of South Heighton. I lived there for a about a year and still use the Hampden. From an AMOC point of view, I know Razer, who until recently I believe was a member. So yes, I'm sure one day our paths will cross.

I try to make a weekend on Gower a couple of times every year...but thats hardly much of a ride out for you is it? Mind you I'd have thought Hillend camp site might be a grand place for a meet up one day.

Meet a few times every year as previously mentioned - keep an eye out in Rallies section. Few of us in Yorkshire America, Speedy and T'bird owners meet regularly for a pint of Timmy Taylors We will be doing the Wartime Weekend in the North Yorks Moors on 16th October.
Never done the Gower - fancy that someday.
