US 6 from Idaho Springs, to near Vail, and from Vail to Gypsum - a better ride than being trapped on I-70. Now US 6 to US 40 then back through Estes can be fun, but I don't know when Trail Ridge Road closes
And if you gt the urgis to Sturgis, close, baby - and everyone knocks it, but you have to see "the elephant" at least once.

Of course, there's no excuse for not coming to SWTF in Prescott, now. Mikey and I would be glad to show you the way, though you'd be tempted to go I-24 to I-40 - Don't. You haven't lived until you've been hit up for change in Tuba City, AZ.
