You should check your mixture and performance, do not want to run too lean. I was running a set of Supertrap mufflers that were less restrictive so my bike was jetted for that set up, also running a K&N and drilled air box.

There are some guys here with lots of real time experience, tuning their bikes, with different intake exhaust mods. Check with them, they even have a calculator so help you figure out the jetting.
