I understand now. With that set-up in your link, did the owner need to re-jet?
I have drilled through the the first 3 plates on my '06 America with an extended 1/2" drill bit and it is definitely an improvement in exhaust note over stock but not sufficient a modification I believe to think bout re-jetting. I didn't do it to improve performance but just wanted a slightly sweeter exhaust note coming out of my slash-cuts.
