Yeah if you have an arc welder I guess you could do it. I was thinking of going to Lowes and see what they have. Seems like you could could buy one that would at least get to the first 2 baffles. A few years ago when I did this I actually used a drill bit to poke a bunch of holes through the first one to see how it would sound. Then I used the saw bit that was actually welded to a big pipe. The pipe weighed so much though you needed a powerful drill. I chewed up the saw bit because I just had a 1/2 hp home drill that didn't have enough torque. I got those dang baffles out though, but it wasn't pretty.
