these at clipsandfasteners claim to be "Special Heat Resistant EPDM Rubber" and should be more like the factory quality.



Still auto parts! But glad you put that up edge, could be useful, if i'm wanting to wait for a period.But as you say ..to my way to thinking and use over the years,"vinyl" is not good as rubber.........it expands out of shape and don't hold a tight fit, like rubber does! And plastic and rubber are all that are made.Also "ANY" rubber breaks down over time "ANYTIME" its realated to a heat source nearby!! jmo bob s
