where is the best place to get a longer (1-2") brake line for the speedy. all the usual places look like they just offer replacement. would the line for an america give the extra length. thanks joe
If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

Triumph. Buy the America line. Unless they changed things the BA line is a little longer not sure how much though, I forget. I used one when I put longer risers and America bars on my speedy.
Otherwise you can get the parts to make one at J&P Cycles. You can go braided stainless or what ever other finish you want at the same time. They sell fittings with AN3 fittings and various length lines with AN3 on the ends.

The BA line will probably work fine then. I went to 4 1/2" risers with 1 1/2" pull back and added the BA bars and the BA line worked fine for me.

A complete line from Goodridge in the exact size you need should be less than $80. You would need two, 35 degree banjo bolt fittings, one box of crush washers and the desired line length. From this place: 2 Chrome banjo bolts are $17 1 box 10 mm crush washers $4 The brake line should be about $40 (around 40" or so is my guess). You can get info on how to measure for the line at the Goodrige site (read this first, I didn't.....)
