I had my Cardinal Red TBA for 7 1/2 years and put 33,000 on the odometer. I had to replace an ignition coil but that is unusual. If the bike has 17K miles you might also check the chain for wear and also the cush drive. The chain may need to be replaced in 3-8K miles. Like Mountainman said ask for the service record and make sure recommended services were completed. Hope you get it.
