I too run Wix. Napa filters are made by Wix too, or at least they used to be as these things change as contracts run out.

I believe i read a post on here where one member said he has over 60,000 miles on his bike. He said he changes it every 4,000 miles and uses A Purlator Pure One oil filter and Rotella t Synthetic and tests the oil after every oil change and the results always come back that oil looks new. That sounds like enough empirical data for me.

i learned a while back that most of the filters you buy, car or bike, are pretty much made by mostly the same manufactures. there is only a hand full of them and like paint and car batteries,,,,, they put different covers on them. wixx fram pretty much the same. just change your oil and filter and it really doesnt matter. BUT I COULD BE WRONG ALSO,,, LOLOLOL But i did read a article that said that. heck look at teh numbering on our battery cross referance, a lot of the first 3 digits are the same.
