I went with Keyster 40 pilot jets, sourced locally. The pilot screws are now set about 2.25 turns out. Cruise & idle are both good. No carb spitting.
The carb sync was pretty close, even since replacing the throttle plates.
Time to dyno again. Or maybe do some air cut valve experimentation first...
