Not wanting to hijack another post I thought it better to start a seperate one. I need, want, must have a pair of thesefor my 2004 Speedy. I know Keith won't mind as it shows is beautiful bike once again. [image] [/image] I need the following information. What year model bikes are they from? Does anybody know the Triumph part number? Does anybody have a pair for sale? Or any other information that will help me get them.

Part number is A9758044 Official Triumph description is Tank Badge - Eyebrow (even though it is a kit; you get the two gaskets as well - no new screws however)
I have had them on three different bikes from '02 through '06 so you should be fine on an '04
They are getting pretty hard to get hold of; I tried ordering a set through the local dealer but they were on indefinite back order, rang around and no one had them in stock, so finally ordered some from World of Triumph in the UK. They were in stock and arrived in around 4days but with a hugely inflated shipping cost (over 50% of the cost of the badge).
But that doesn't matter....it was worth every penny!

They are certainly worth hunting around for! Maybe worth, taking a look at this previous discussion (http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=457514&page=0&fpart=all&vc=1), it included the 'hint' of an offer to buy and ship them over to reduce the cost. It was too late for me but may be worth a look!

In OZ Frank, they class them as Bonnieville badges, Triumph at Slacks Creek (Bris) had them in the post for me the day I ordered them, just over $100,

Thanks for asking the questions Frank, and also thanks for the answers guys. I've been meaning to look at buying a set of these for a while now but keep forgetting.
I personally can't dispute how brilliant they look in comparison to stock. Mind you Triumph know it by the sounds of how much they are.
What price for beauty though???

Its actually a pretty complex piece. They have a separate gasket and name plate along with the eyebrow. That is why they cost so much. Now, the harmonica (garden gate)badges are also pretty intricate.
I suggest you get a set of them while you still can too.
They look fabulous on a solid colored tank.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

...and don't forget the darn anti-tamper Torx driver, you need if you are going to do the change!
Well at least anti-tamper should mean they won't be 'lifted' by someone who takes a casual likely to them!

Just checked, as I didn't think the Bonneville badges were the same as Eyebrow badges (they are similar) http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd260/warmanm/Tankbadges.jpgHere is the best info I have found....

Hello, after searching found this thread on the tank badges I would really like to get. Does anyone know where they are available now? I remember about a year ago, there were a few on E-bay, but no longer. Are they in very short supply? I did go to World of Triumph in the UK's website, but not sure how I feel about the shipping. Please let me know your thoughts

I got mine from Jack Lilley Triumph in the UK.
They had them in stock and overseas postage isn't a problem.
I've got quite a lot of parts from them and never had a problem.
The 2 contact people are Kath or Rob. Really nice people.

you can contact Scot at A1moto.com in the UK. You can still get most the badges but you have to order each pc . the left badge the left gasket, right bdge, right gasket. I got my Harmonica badges form him that way. I posted about it in one of the threads. I have to add the numbers to the tech vault. I saved all the packages with the stock numbers. I bet you can do the same with the ones you are looking for. http://www.a1moto.com/content/pages/about/about_a1_moto.htmuse the contact link and ask for scott. let him know you were refered by Scott Sailer from this forum. they send you stuff and add a little present too.
