I have worked for my company for 19 years, then found out 4 weeks ago that I was being put at risk of redundancy. So did the job hunt thing - 1st time in 19 years. Not much out there but did manage to make 2 job applications, which resulted in 2 interviews. Not a bad start. Then I was told, as if I did not know already, that I was redundant. This was yesterday at 10am, nice pay off but no job. Then 1pm that very same day I get a new job. The one that I really wanted.   What more could I have asked for

Redundant can also mean "Loquacious" So we could be made into a Keith - or a Bill, when our company no longer wants us  Hum, need to think about that one.  Thanks to all for the good luck wishes.

What more could I have asked for
19 years next question do you qualify for full redundancy payment. I can see a new bike on the horizon...every cloud has a silver lining.
