I have worked for my company for 19 years, then found out 4 weeks ago that I was being put at risk of redundancy. So did the job hunt thing - 1st time in 19 years. Not much out there but did manage to make 2 job applications, which resulted in 2 interviews. Not a bad start.
Then I was told, as if I did not know already, that I was redundant. This was yesterday at 10am, nice pay off but no job. Then 1pm that very same day I get a new job. The one that I really wanted.
What more could I have asked for
