I've also been following tire discussions and have about decided to go with Metzler but think I'll go from my stock 110/80 18 to the 110/90 18 like they put on the new America models. Other than making the speedo slightly more accurate, I'm not sure what other advantages (or disadvantages) there are going to the slightly taller tire. Triumph decided to stick with the 110/80 18 on the Speedmaster. If it's better for one, why not the other?
