Being from a different country I'm very 126.html to denigrate the policies that appear almost inhumane from another.
From a medical viewpoint though it simply does not sound logical to not in the first instance look after your own citizens first before anyone else.
Yes the world can be harsh and appear devoid of empathy and compassion for our fellow man but financial resources are not inexhaustible which then requires governments to look at their priorities.
I would have thought from a possibly ignorant and simplistic viewpoint a country would firstly ensure those who have already contributed to it's prosperity via taxes etc would be at the top of that priority list.
I'll leave it at that.
