Theyre supposed to change the automobile laws too to just check your emissions and not everything else.

Here in NC, we no longer get an inspection sticker for our bikes (or cars), but the inspection date is printed on your registration card. If you haven't had a vehicle inspected, you're blocked from renewing the plates. I had to get both bikes inspected this spring (for the first time ever), and the dealer said they've had a bunch of people coming in after trying to renew plates and getting denied because no inspection. Luckily, for bikes there's no emissions test; just lights, tires, horn check basically...and $14.

Ive ridden in front of cops before just waiting for them to see my empty sticker spot and pull me over for some front fender tickets and whatever else, but it never happened. Now it'll just be making a moving violation in order to get those tickets...aha
