Hi,

This auction is for my '09 Triumph America 865cc. This was my first bike, which I've owned since new. It was great as a first time bike and now that I'm a bit more experienced I can honestly say it is still fantastic. Unfortunately, I promised my wife it would have to go when we started a family, and that's why it up for sale. If I had my way I'd never sell it!!
So.. the bike has been housed in a garage and kept out of the Great British weather when not in use. As a result the paint and chrome are in great condition. I've spent loads of time and effort keeping it in top condition and I hope that this shows in the photos. I've covered 6774 mile on this bike, so it's well broken in, and the engine has never put a foot wrong. To further promote the condition I rode it to the dealership yesterday and it is a ****** of a lot better than any 2nd hand one they've got for the same money but with less miles.
The paint is not standard. Ordinarily, America's came in blue with the cream/white scallop and gold pin striping. This has been re-done by Triumph, so that it shows the same blue but with the silver that is usually found on the Speedmaster, in place of the white. Also stock bikes have the model name of 'America' on the side. This was removed by Triumph during the respray, mainly as who'd want the word America on a British bike! This make the bike unique. I have not seen another one like it at any of the bike meetings or Triumph owner rallies.

I've also added a lot extra's to this bike including the following, all of which are genuine Triumph accessories:
1) High Sissy Bar and Luggage Rack - £249.99. I've not sat on the back personally but my wife has told me that the ride back there is really comfortable.
2) Engine Dresser Bars across the front £124.99 - see picture 6. This gives the bike a wider/ styling and protects the bike should you end up dropping it.
3) Chrome Front Control Bar - £83.99
4) Triumph Logo Highway Pegs - £79.99 These are brilliant and my best buy. I'm 6' tall and like stretching my legs out whist riding, these allow this and stop my knees cramping up.
5) Chrome battery box - £52.99
5) Chrome Rear foot rest hangars - £119.99
6) Chrome Oval wing mirrors, marked Triumph - £93.99
7) Chrome rocker gear lever kit - £99.99
8) Chrome number plate bracket - £31.99
9) Chrome rear brake resevoir cover - £20.99
10) Chrome cam covers - £83.99
11) Chrome Light Bar and spot light Kit - £197.99
12) Scott Oiler to automatically lubricate the chain, fitted by Triumph. £ (I'll throw in two new bottles of the oil as well)
All this is about £1360 of extras on the bike

************
I also have a set of Genuine Triumph Large Leather Sadle Bags which hold 18 litres. These are also in good condition and come with the Chrome Mounting Frames, as in Picture 8 - £311.99.
I also have the chrome luggage rack - £93.99, that sits in place of the pillion seat and gives the bike a sleek beach cruiser appearance. This coupled with the rest of the kit looks brilliant.
I also have the blue and silver Triumph leather jacket and my wife's Triumph size 8/10 white and blue leather jacket that i will be selling.
I am selling these last three items seperately but will consider including them in the price of the bike purchase if the money is right.
************

The bike was last serviced by Triumph in June/July and has no mechanical issues what so ever. It still has 6 months Triumph unlimited mileage warranty.

I welcome viewings and will answer any questions anyone may have. I want this bike to go to a good home and to someone who will appretiate it. I am listing the bike and extras for sale elsewhere and so reserve the right to remove this item from Ebay at any time.

Pleas remember that you are bidding to buy, not to simply come and view it. The winner will have to pay £200 deposit into my Paypal account and the remainder on collection.

Good luck with this one. Whoever wins it will be well pleased with their purchase as you'll get a lot of bike for your money.

Thanks for looking.
