Not wanting to hijack your post but I've found this tail light bulb
an excellent purchase.

Not only does it illuminate heaps better to the stock bulb, it flashes when I touch the brakes.

My main concern was getting taken out at a set of traffic lights and the fact it illuminated so well was actually a bonus.
