 Gerbing Heated Liners?

Has anyone used the Gerbing heated vest liner? Looks like it might be worth the money for frostbite riding. Maybe I just need to relocate.

Steve, I just looked at their website. Wow, it all interconnects right from your battery. Being in Washington I would at least do the jacket and gloves. Looks really cool bud.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

I am about to order a jacket (not vest) liner because u can plug the gloces right into the sleeves. I have just the glove liners (which I would pop for the gloves next time by the way) and having wires down your sleeves is weird! I think it'll be better.

My Moto Guzzi has heated grips so I'm not too concerned about the gloves. The vest looks to be what I'm looking for with my set up. I have to watch total current draw.

I have the heated jacket liner, pants, socks, and gloves. It's all quality stuff. I would recommend getting a temperature controller as well. The vest might roast you out without it. Also, I have the accessory socket on my TA, so I bought the adapter to plug everything into it. No wires to hide when you're not using the heated clothing.

As with Grump, I've had a full set for a while. It's hard to argue with electric gear when you're riding around comfortably with the temps hovering around 20f.
Just a note of caution, at less than about 2500rpm with the heated gear on, it'll drain the battery to below operating use in about 20 minutes.
I have a voltmeter that shows red even without the gear when the choke is off and I'm stopped at a light/stop sign with the high beam, spots, and a blinker flashing... so with heated gear drawing on the system it goes down quick. The bike just wasn't made to push a lot of electrical accessories.
Is there a generator upgrade out there somewhere?
