Funny that the title of this thread is "Ever had one of those days?" All about airlines as well.

I've just returned from my jaunt across the pond and when I got into Heathrow this morning and stood like a muppet next to the conveyer belt for a good hour in baggage return only to find the US Airways baggage handlers didn't load my holdall that I checked in at Albany onto my connecting flight in Philidelphia.

So if anyone in PA notices a funny smell coming from the airport then don't worry its just some of my dirty laundry.

Fair play to the guy at Heathrow - within about 2 minutes he had tracked my holdall down to the exact point where it was and has it booked on a flight and delivery arranged to my house.

At least I didn't have to lug the holdall through London on the train today so at least that was one plus point.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
