As a teenager in '75-77 I rode my '73 bonnie all the time with my best friend and his Sportster. I guess I currently don't think twice about riding w/HD bikers given the respect that you mention above. My TBA has received many compliments...mutual admiration since I, like many, drool over the looks of HD's. At work (Corporate world), there are many HD "owners" who stare dumbfounded when i mention Triumph...it's a good clue that they are clueless...must be " 2nd Mortgage Choppers " (see prior post ) I avoid them.

Side note; after high school, I got lucky when someone signed me up for college, my best friend/HD Sportster went to the west coast and joined some Hell's Angel gang...serious. He is out now and doing extremely well but it took years. Hum...Triumph=College, HD=Gang??? Fate??
