HI all,
i've been considering a hardtail for my 02. i know british customs makes a bolt on and lowbrow makes a weld on, but they tell me neither will work for the america. does anyone have any solutions. i'd also like to go with a 18" wheel in the back and 19" in the front which ideally would look like this:
wheel set up
does anyone know how i can get those size wheels to work for my bike? do i need to take the hubs and have custom rims made for it? if so can someone recommend a place here in the states?

top it off with a nice little spring seat and i'll be happy.

i'm suprised these companies aren't making the hardtail kits for the america since i think it would fit quite a bit nicer with the rake of the america.
thank you,
brin

well bitterend choppers makes hardtail frames from scratch,

but not a kit weld-on. Ive seen 1 weld-on job on here and it was a one-off bike in a show.

Your link didnt work, but usually the way it works with rims is you use the stock hubs and get someone to relace a new rim with it.

Choppahead also makes a rigid frame, don't know of any bolt-ons.
