Hi:
I'm the proud owner of a New 2005 TBA, and was looking for some help on windshields. I was looking at the Memphis Shades Slim and Fats. I was looking for some feedback from anyone that has used either one of these. Also how they compare to the Triumph ones. Thanks Tom

They're great windshields. I had the Memphis Slim and went to the Fat. Unlike the Triumph windshield they have a quick release system consisting of 4 allen screws that you loosen a half turn and the whole windshield comes off. You'll need the Suzuki Maurader 800 mount kit for our bikes. Some guys also like the windvest. You can't go wrong with either one of these windshields.

I have the Triumph roadster screen and like riding behind it. However it is too expensive and the quick disconnect feature of the Memphis Shades line looks like a nice bonus for significantly less cash. Think I saw a Fats screen and hardware for $200 (MAW or the like).

I'm very happy with my memphis fats. It definitely takes some time to get the adjustments dialed in but the results are worth it. You need to get a set of "lowers" with it. These mount to either side of your forks and prevent the updrafts and buffeting from below the screen.

Going on a third season with the Memphis Slim- great windscreen, and easy on and off.

if you get the mem fats, make sure you're aware that if not adjusted correctly, the brackets will hit the tank. don't ask me how i know. great windshield. i have the lowers also. like he said, i will take a little adjusting to get it dialed in, but it works good and it comes off quickly. cat

Iceman,
I too have the Triumph Roaster screen. It was not cheap but it matches the bike up nice. The quick disconnect would be nice though for around town.
