Well, the American leg of the Stretchermonkey US tour 2010 has been pretty good so far!

Today got a little bit better though.

We were in the process of purchasing a property in Savoy MA but due to the reliability of the realtor and the septic system on the property we pulled out.

When my missus was checking out the property she saw a bike in the back of the garage and the guy said he would sell it her for $200 so she thought it would be a good project to keep me out of trouble when I get out here.

Well I went to Savoy today to pick up some other bits n bobs from the property that she purchased off the owner and saw the bike.

I'll find out tomorrow the year of the bike when I get the registration documents, but it looks like I might be the proud owner of a 1974 or 75 Honda CB450.

Apart from replacing a couple of seals, gaskets and a little surface rust it looks pretty good and looks in its original state.

When I get it back tomorrow I'll pop a pic up of it but in the meantime anyone know much about Honda CB450's?

Otherwise I'm beginning to get a rough idea about what I'm in store for out here as all people keep talking to me about are snowblowers and the dangerous wildlife.

Thankfully we are looking pretty good for a nice property in Cheshire MA which would suit us perfectly, so fingers crossed here!

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
