Hi -I've been reading the material on removing the SAIS, but this seems to assume a carburetted bike....mine's EFI.
Does anyone know how this will affect the running of my bike-if at all?
Thanks

Al

I have found nothing negative about removing the AI. It has been quite a while since I removed mine, however I seem to remember that it reduced the popping on decel and throtle response off idle was much smoother. The blueing of the pipes is also reduced. If you wish to do this mod I have a detailed account as to what is necessary in removing the AI on an EFI motor. Just pm me your email address and I will send it to you.
Cheers,
John
