You don't have to rip the bike apart, you can rejet in just a few minutes by dropping the carb bowls. NOW GET OFF YOUR LAZY DUFF AND GO DO IT!!!

140-145 seems too high to me. I haven't cut open my air box, but I'm running a UNI and NH bellmouth. I presently have 125 mains and 45 pilots, but may need to go to 128 mains since adding the bellmouth. Can't see needing higher for my set up that's been tested with numerous dyno runs. I plan to do another dyno run next month.
Even though higher throttle position is all mains. Having mains too large can negatively affect the middle range. Your pilots, mains, and needles do interact. My service dealer believes in having the smallest necessary main first, then alter the needles and pilots as needed. It shows up very clearly in dyno testing.

yeah it could be a bit too rich, if it's in the higher rev range then it's main jet not needle.

Balance your carbs. It will help get rid of the mid range vibration. Mine comes in at around 3500 rpms.

...you need to add 1/4 oz to the right carb. If you are left handed, add 1/8 to the right carb.
