So let me get this straight Rudy. If it would have rained like last year you could have made it? Well okay then... take care of business. You'll be missed. Good luck with the tractor.

Same here. Got told at 4:30 today "Your vacation days for tomorrow and Friday are cancelled. You have to (blah, blah blah, blah blah, blah blah) by Friday."
Work is the curse of the drinking class.
Try to have fun without me, guys. I know it will be tough.
Sorry Argyle. There is always a rally someplace, maybe next year. I guess I'm spoiled. If they tried to cancel my vaction I would file a grievance on my superviosr and her supervisor then call the governor and the press. Of course they love me cause I'm so good at what I do. I had a chance to shake the Gov's hand 2 weeks ago at the mansion but told them I didn't have time. Believe it or not. Anyway he's a lame duck. Crap, I guess I need to finish packing and quit. See you all in a few hours.

Paul, I understand the 2007 speedmaster I picked up last January attended the Arkansas rally once. Does that count for anything jh

Well at least it is worth a free ticket to next years rally! Bike can already understand mid america hillbilly so should make it fine. (not Paul but waiting on him to show up so we can take the scenic route to Eureka Springs!)

sasnakrA is a pretty place I lived there for a while. I even built the visiter lodge on Mt. Magazine. One day I would like to visit there again and ride those mountain roads again.

I'm home and well but the bike is not feeling so great. Seems she's sprung a leak somewhere. When I got home, the right side of the bike is splattered with oil. The biggest concentration of oil seems be around the bottom area of the sprocket cover and neer the oil filter. I really haven't looked hard at it since I was done with the bike for now. I'll get it wiped up and clean so I can get a better idea of it's starting point. May make a new thread in Misc. Thanks for the PERFECT weekend and looking forward to next year.

I'm glad everyone had a good time and there were no serious problems. I wasn't happy about the motel double charging for Troy's hotel room. He had paid for 2 nights and they wouldn't return his money when he had to go home and then re-booked it. So they got double for one room. Needless to say we will be looking for another place to stay next year maybe closer to Hot Springs.

I really enjoyed the photo journalistic account of your rally guys. It sounds like you all had a great time and the pictures show some GREAT country. It makes me wish I could be there. (Sorry you're having trouble with your bike Chris.)

One thing you all should know about the AR Rally, you have to earn your miles there. Not much straight line riding. It takes pretty much constant attention to keep your bike between the lines. Be on your A game at all times. That's part of what makes it so great. So awesome and so exhausting all at the same time. I love it, and can't wait for next years rally! Anyone within a 6 state radius should really try to make it at least once.

Speaking of mileage...
810 miles door to door for me this past weekend per my tripmeter. I think our Shreveport couple may be the high mileage champs this time around.
Everyone else? Mileage?
