It's time again for the ho down in the Ozarks.(did I just say ho?) I booked the Riders Rest Biker Motel 4092 E. Van Buren Eureka Springs, AR, for the 2d week in October. 7th, 8th, 9th and leave the 10th. Call Anne at (479) 253-9815 for your reservation. www.ridersrestmotel.com Remember there are only 10 rooms and over flow will have to be at a motel nearby. If any of you local folks want to help me plan the rides, I would appreciate the help.

Anne's still there, huh? She was pretty adamant about selling last year. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it and hope it's a little warmer and dryer than last year's.

I am about 80% sure that I am in. May come up in the motorhome the weekend before and just work from there and wait for y'all to show up

Still my favorite rally. Best scenery, cool hotel, good bunch of fella's. I doubt I'll be able to go though, as I will be up to my neck in boards and drywall by then with the new house. I'm still gonna keep my options open though. I'm gonna be watching this thread for developement, and even though I probably won't make it, I'll be watching Dave and Chris too. At night. Just the two of them. In their hotel room. Alone. Late. Moooooooaaaaaaaaaahhh!My presense will beeeeeeeee thereeeeeeeee.........

Yes. October SHOULD be great riding weather. Last year was awesome, but I remember it took a couple days to dry out and get the shiver out of the bones. It was chilly to say the least...

Paul, so far that is the plan. I am finalizing details but will probably stay across the street at the kettle campground. Last year, I pulled the motor home into the Rider's Rest and Anne came on-board and we just sat and had a nice talk while I completely blocked her driveway.

Sure you can ride her. Did get the seat done by Spencer at Great Day to Ride. Still breaking it in should be good by rally time.

Yeah, it made a pretty big difference. I don't think I could have made it all the way to the Ga. Rally with the stock seat. It was pure torture.

I don't think his Triumph chopper is up and running yet Dan, so he doesn't have a bike to ride that I'm aware of.

That's right on, Mark! I'm excited, I can't wait for some cooler weather... this 100º stuff sucks. I'm thinking scenic route on the way there this year unless the weather is sucky.
