Spins a web.....
Hey! WAIT a minute, I gotta question here, folks!!!
Should one REALLY wear a Spiderman helmet IF they're out on a ride with their local RAT club???
(I mean, wouldn't that be somehow kind'a sendin' out "mixed messages" here????)

I'd like a Roman Centurion's helmet, but made from carbon fiber and DOT/SNELL approved.

Ummmm...I don't know, John. Sorry, but I'm not quite seein' this here!
Ya see, while I know that's a ROMAN helmet, offhand I'm thinkin' that unless you're currently attending either U.S.C. OR Michigan State University, OR happen to be an OVERLY proud alumni of either one of those institutions of higher learning ...well...you REALLY shouldn't be wearin' THAT sucker on your head while ridin' around!

Right after Weyerhaeuser hired him to take care of that little "tree-hugger problem" they occasionally run into!
(...that's when!)

That fringe thing on the top is what does it for me--instant Mohawk. I agree that cross-winds could pose a problem, however and your mileage may vary. And, hey, we should thank the Persians--for windmills and distilled alcohol

Well John, seein' as how my preference for that second item tends to be manufactured from regions located north of Hadian's Wall over there on that little ol' island situated off the coast of mainland Europe, and IF those Persians made it all the way THERE and taught THOSE dudes to make that stuff, then YEP, I suppose I CAN thank those Persians out there, alright!!!
(cheers, dude!)

Why, OF COURSE they do, John!
Them suckers appear to come NOT ONLY in a quaint old-fashioned style, but ALSO in a very hip and up-to-date MODular style TOO!

(okay, okay...so they can't all be "knee-slappers" here, ALRIGHT!!!...yeah, this one might've just been some residual effect from that "Putin Pun" thread that's also goin' on around here...yeah, THAT'S IT, I'm goin' with THAT as my excuse for THIS one!!!)

The ponytail helmet attachment is linked to comic book guy which is linked to both yourself and spiderman in helmet form
Should I draw a diagram?

Well, since you were out here ... you dislike the pseudo-Macedonian country north of Greece ... and you want to defend us from the Persians ... You are a true friend, Sir. What more could I ask for?
That visit to Alexander the Great's birthplace Pella and the visit (and lunch) to the "home of the Gods" near Mount Olympus afterwards sure must have helped.

Ooooh yeah, I remember that stop last year in the [pseudo]Macedonian capitol city of Skopje alright, ol' buddy!
And to tell ya the TRUTH, from the looks of the place I thought the Persians might've SACKED IT just a couple o' YEARS ago!!!
(remember what I said about it remindin' me of "Beautiful Downtown" TIJUANA MEXICO???)

Yep, gotta say both o' those places, among MANY other beautiful locales in that wonderful country o' yours, were VERY impressive, and could EASILY make almost anyone wanna put on that helmet pictured above and defend it against any and ALL potential invaders!!!

So we've come full-circle! Do you realize that in one episode of the Simpsons, Homer had a pig and was doing the theme song to "Spider Pig".

Now WAIT just one darn second here, Tom!!!
Are YOU tryin' to IMPLY that I sometimes take threads that quite often have goofy subjects to begin with, and then once somethin' said in 'em might remind me of somethin' else, that I then often take those kind'a threads WAY OFF in directions from their goofy origins to almost ANY subject under the Sun???
Well, I DON'T know about THAT...but it's kind'a funny you should bring that up, 'cause that DOES kind'a remind me of somethin' that happened back when.........................

However.... back to the original subject... If someone really would like a Spiderman helmet, the SkullSkins option looks like it would be a much better option than the ones sold by DONY custom on eBay. Because they are covers with see through visor decals rather than completely painted including a painted visor that has to make complete vision difficult.

Well, HECK dude, it wasn't ME who was observant enough to notice that the dude pictured way up there at the beginnin' wearin' that "snazzy" Spiderman helmet was ALSO sportin' a lumberjack jacket! THAT was RON!!!
And, you'll have to excuse Thanassis for bringin' up that "Macedonia" thing, which btw STILL p*sses him off to no end, 'cause ya know, that's really NOT "Macedonia" accordin' to many of those Greek fellas over there. But, Thanassis is now probably on his way at this time to Austria and that Euro Rally, so he probably won't be around for a while to defend HIS insertin' THAT into this thread.

(sooooo...the point is...I AIN'T the ONLY dude doin' this hijacking thing around here...but yeah, I suppose I 'MIGHT" be one of the biggest "practitioners" on this fine and otherwise noble tradition around these here parts!!!)
